Today is my last day at my school!I am now going to a new school, in a new town, and in a new house! Even though I am in a new school, I will try to keep up with my blog!

One of my creativity skills that most people say is really good is my photography; because of this, I have decided to become a photographer later on in life. Here are some samples of my photography…
This is my cat Whaley!
Some other things I am good at are movie-making and computers.
Movie making… I am good at this so I made myself a YouTube channel so I can post my videos and photography so that people can see how well I do in these areas.
Computers… I am good with computers because I am always looking through things on the computer like how to change the colour of the internet bar, how to download or remove things from my hard drive, etc. I enjoy being on computers.

This is the definition of favourite; it’s something appealing to others, and many people have favourites. I have many different favourites, including…
Photography…
One of top favourites of all time is photography. I have my own camera and anytime I have the chance, I will take a picture; with people, without people, sunsets, sceneries, anything that is an interesting sight for me. I have several photos that I have taken that I absoulutly love; I have a photo I have taken of people holding hands and I edited it to say “I will never let go” It is one of my favourites.Art
Another favourite of mine is art. I love art and at least every night, I create a new art piece. I like to use oil pastels the most because they are easy to handle and use; they also have very viberant colours. I also like to use oil paints because they are easy to use and mix to make different colours. That’s all of my favourites for now!

Every family has interests, hobbies and places they like to go and most of the time other family members like to do the thing their relatives like to do. Here is my familys interests and hobbies, they have things in common with other relatives too.
Dad (Hans)… My dad has several different hobbies and interests including history, boating and being in cemetaries. You may think that cemetaries can’t be an interest, but it is. My dad, my brothers, Zach and Alex, and I go to cemetaries 4 times a year; twice in the spring and twice in the fall. What we do is we have volenteers from an engish class at one of the highschools in town and we fix old stones that have fallen and is buried in the dirt. My dad likes history so he became a historian and has just got his archeological lisence meaning he is now a licensed archeoligist. The reason he likes boating is because he worked and lived on a boat for a part of his life; he was born on a boat, he worked on a boat and now we own a boat.
Mom (Tammy)… My mom’s interests are traveling and boating. My mom likes to travel so whenever we have a chance, she will want to go somewhere; whether it’s to a family members house or just in to town to go shopping, she will want to go. She likes boating just like my dad because my dad likes to go out to the lake for boating and swimming, so eventually my mom became a fan of it too.
Kelly (Sister)… My sister’s hobbie is traveling because she has always wanted to travel around the world. So far she has been to New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Manitoba, Europe and the United States. She would like to go to more places in Europe.
Melinda (Sister)… My sister likes to cook and be with children and animals. She really likes to cook because my dad tought her how to cook several things so now everytime I go to see her, she always has something baking. She also likes to be with kids and animals because she is a caring person. She has a daughter named Alanna and two pets, a dog and a cat.
Zach (Brother)… Zach’s interests are video games and the computer. Zach absoulutly adores video games so every chancce he gets, he will be playing them; that is why my dad said we can only have games and computers on weekends from 4 o’clock friday to 6 o’clock sunday evening. He will often try to go to friends houses during the week so he can go on games. He also likes computers because he likes the games on there. Almost every morning before my parents get up, he will go on the computer for about an hour playing games, without my parents knowing.
Alex (Brother)… Alex’s interests are boating, creating things and video games. Like Zach, he loves playing video games on their Nintendo 64, Nintendo DS and on the computer. His favourite game is Super Mario Bros. and Transformice. He likes boating because he is exactly like my dad; he looked like him when he was a kid and they both love to watch and be on boats. Alex loves creating things out of popsicle sticks and glue. He makes thing that he imagines to be something else. He and my dad have mad the Titanic, the Edmond Fitzgerald and our first boat out of blocks of wood.
Teresa (Aunt)… My Aunt’s interents are writing and photography. My aunt just had a baby girl named Angelia and she always has new pictures of her and her brothers, Saywer and Beau, almost every week. She also likes to write so she became a freelancerand wrote a book called Fire Island. Here is a link where you can find more info on it… http://www.publishamerica.net/product89844.html
Dennis (Uncle)… My uncle’s interest is ultimate fighting! He is usually in fights and half the time, wins! It’s so cool! The worst injury he has ever had is a giant bruse on his leg. Ouch!
Opa (Grandpa)… My Opa (dutch for Grandpa) is boating/shipps and photgraphy. He loves to go on boats and he also loves to take pictures of them; inside and out! He loves to be on ships because he worked on one for most of his life. He loves to take pictures of boats and posts them onlie on this shipping website.
Grandpa… My Grandpa loves to ride 4-wheelers and work on machines; mostly automotive related. He has a very big 4-wheeler, a few motercycles and some tractors. He likes to fix them up and use them afterwards.
Nana (Grandma)… My Nana’s interests are being with kids and cooking. At every family reunion, she cooks; and I must say, her cooking is good! She loves to be around kids because she is always babysitting my cousins who are 6, 3 and 3 months old; and she doesn’t mind it a bit!
Jesse (Cousin)… Jesse’s interest is being with people; piticulary family members. He is always socializing with us whenever we have a get-together. He is a very funny and caring person. Everyone should have someone in their family like Jesse!
Dylan (Cousin)… Dylan’s interests are running and being outside. I ahve to say this because the last time I remember, these two things are what I saw him doing. We were playing on a snow drift and we kept running up and down it, and out of us all he lasted the longest running!
Cassandra (Cousin)… Cassandra’s interests are reading and excersizing. She loves to read because she is a book smart kind of person. She is usually reading. She loves to excersize because her and I like to strech together before we run around.

How can I improve my blog?

Have you ever wondered, ‘Is there is a way to increase the number of comments and visitors on my blog?’ Well, I have! So, when I saw this activity, my mind exploded with ideas! I could do so many things, like…
- I could comment on other blogger’s websites, and ask them to comment back or visit my blog.
- I coluld work my hardest and try to get into the Best Student Blog Challenge.
- I could ask people to add me to their blogroll so that if someone goes on their blog, they can find mine.
- I could try to get nominated for writing a post that would be on Mrs. W’s blog.
- I could make a poster and add it to my blog and have people share it so that others could find me.
- I could comment on other blogger’s websites and ask them to mention me in a post.
For now, that is all I can think of.

My Short Story

Here is my short story…
The Cat
Amber
“You’re going to be late, Trisha” my mom stated to me, “You better get to school quick!” I just finished slipping my last shoe on; all I had to do was grab my backpack and go. Then my brother, Adam, walked up to me and warned me, “You better watch out for the neighbor’s new cat. I was told that his cat is mean and can run faster than a car on the highway!” Then he walked away. I then thought to myself, ‘Yeah right! I bet he’s just trying to scare me!’ Then, I walked out the door.
I was right in front of my neighbor’s house when I saw the cat. He started walking towards me with a look I couldn’t identify. I started walking a little faster, as I thought of what Adam said, but the cat caught up to me. I was right; Adam was trying to scare me. The cat wasn’t mean, it was affectionate, maybe even too affectionate, and it wouldn’t leave me alone! It stayed by my feet all the way to my school. When I got to the entrance of it, I screamed at the cat, “Go away cat! Go to your home where you belong!” Then it backed away and sat down. Then I walked into the school just as the bell rang.
Once I got to my classroom, my teacher, Mr. Chance, opened the windows. The minute I got to my desk, I looked out an open window, just to find the cat sitting in front of it, and then it happened.
The cat jumped into the classroom through the window and started jumping onto everyone’s desks. It stopped right on Lily’s desk, then went onto her lap and wouldn’t get off! Mr. Chance then immediately called Mrs. Holly, the custodian, down to the classroom to exterminate the cat because Mr. Chance absolutely hated cats. Once Mrs. Holly grabbed the cat with her rubber gloves and put it outside, Mr. Chance shut all the windows.
Ever since then, Mr. Chance never opened another window again unless he knew another cat wouldn’t jump through it again, and I learned not to listen to my brother again, unless I knew it was true.

My favourite of all of these would have to be Pop Studio because you get to write songs, do quizzes and make posters.
